Alice in Down Under

Alice is clever, funny, and hopelessly unable to pay attention to anything that bores her — and nothing bores her quite like mathematics.

One ordinary afternoon, tired of maths class and convinced there must be at least one country on Earth where no one ever has to learn it, she packs a suitcase and heads for the airport.

She finds her country. It’s upside down — literally, everyone and everything in it — and it doesn’t take long before her laughter lands her in more trouble than she bargained for.

What follows is a strange, funny, and quietly moving story about a girl who runs from the thing she fears, and finds, in the most unlikely place, someone who teaches her to face it.
